Lavender Vanilla Body Mousse

Luscious and light, this whipped body mousse is loaded with nourishing oils and the sweet scent of lavender flowers. Makes a great gift, so make an extra batch to give away!

Lavender Vanilla Body Mousse Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup raw cocoa butter

½ cup organic sweet almond oil

½ cup organic coconut oil

1 organic vanilla bean, minced

6 drops organic lavender essential oil

Directions

Combine the cocoa butter and coconut oil in the top of a double boiler and gently heat until melted.

Remove from heat and let cool for 20-25 minutes. Using an electric coffee grinder, grind the vanilla

bean into small bits (or finely mince with a sharp knife). Stir the minced vanilla bean and sweet almond oil into the cocoa butter mixture until well blended. Place in freezer for 15-20 minutes, then whip with a hand or stand mixer until light and fluffy. Scoop mouuse into a clean glass jar, cap and label. Store in a cool, dark place. Note: If the weather is very warm, you might want to keep this in the

refrigerator to preserve its whipped consistency.
