DIY Anti-Aging Eye Serum

DIY Anti-Aging Eye Serum This serum starts with a base of meadowfoam seed oil, a deeply nourishing oil obtained from the meadowfoam plant (Limnanthes alba), a wildflower native to the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia that is named for its resemblance to waves of sea foam when in bloom. The oil is fantastic for cosmetic use because it consists of 98% long-chain fatty acids and has exceptional oxidative stability to ensure a long shelf life. Borage seed oil is also highly rejuvenating for skin due to a high concentration of gamma linolenic acid (GLA), while carrot seed oil is prized for mature skin for its anti-aging effects. Ingredients 2 tablespoons meadowfoam seed oil 5 drops borage seed oil 5 drops carrot seed essential oil Directions

Combine all ingredients in a measuring cup or small bowl with a spout and stir to combine. Pour into a one-ounce amber glass bottle with a screw top or reducer cap. To use, dab a drop of oil beneath each eye with your finger.
