Within Every Woman
“Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing. Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species. Though the gifts of the wildish nature come to us at birth, society’s attempt to “civilize” us into rigid roles has plundered this treasure, and muffled the deep, life-giving messages of our own souls.”
Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves

Where does the wild woman in you reside? How long has she been hidden there?
We each come into this life with a knowing, an intuition that never fails us. But we are too often taught to distrust our knowing, to dismiss our intuition as faulty. Meditation, drumming, chanting, and/or sitting in circles of women may help your wild woman to resurface and help you to trust your intuition and ageless knowing. What other practices for creative expression can you engage in to to help facilitate her rebirth?
