Rosemary & Thyme Antibacterial Spray

Rosemary contains a number of active compounds that are responsible for the pharmacological actions of the herb, including hesperidin (a powerful antioxidant), carnosol (antioxidant, anti-carcinogen and anti-inflammatory) and other phenolic diterpenoids with potent antimicrobial properties. Thyme, which contains another phenol called thymol, was once the standard antiseptic in first-aid kits carried on the battlefields of World War I. This spray is prepared in minutes and will be at-the-ready in your natural first aid kit when needed for minor scrapes, bug bites and rashes.

Ingredients 15 drops organic thyme essential oil 10 drops organic rosemary essential oil 1/4 cup organic witch hazel extract Directions Combine all ingredients in a 2-ounce amber bottle with a mister cap, shaking gently to mix. Store in a cool, dark place. Note: Use on deep wounds is not recommended.
