Big Batch Summer Seasoning Blend

Keep this blend on hand to add zesty flavor to spreads, dips, breads, salad dressings, casseroles, pasta and grilled or roasted meats and vegetables. This recipe makes a large batch, but you can adjust the ingredient proportions accordingly to suit your needs.


1 cup dried basil

1 cup dried oregano

½ cup dried dill weed

½ cup dried French tarragon

½ cup dried marjoram

½ cup dried minced onion

1/4 cup dried minced garlic

2 teaspoons ground mustard

2 teaspoons sea salt

1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika


Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stirring to mix. Transfer seasoning blend to a large mason jar or other container with an airtight lid. Store in a cool, dark place.
