Herbs de Provence

This classic seasoning blend is widely used in French cuisine. This version is traditional, but there are many variations (experiment!) on the recipe. Try it with pasta, fish, poultry and egg and cheese dishes.



1 tablespoon dried marjoram

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon dried savory

1 tablespoon dried rosemary

1 tablespoon dried tarragon

1 teaspoon dried lavender buds

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; stir to mix. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
