DIY Curry Powder
 

 
This curry powder sizzles with deep color and bold flavor! Use it to season soups, stews, vegetables (especially roasted cauliflower), rice, shrimp or chicken. If you like your curry on the spicy side, increase the amount of cayenne and red pepper to your liking.

Ingredients
 

 

 
1/4 cup ground turmeric
 

 
2 tablespoons ground coriander
 

 
2 tablespoons ground cumin
 

 
2 tablespoons ground fenugreek powder
 

 
2 tablespoons ground mustard
 

 
1 tablespoon ground cardamon
 

 
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 

 
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
 

 
1/2 teaspoon ground mace
 

 
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne
 

 
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)

Directions
 

 

 
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir with a fork or whisk to mix. Transfer into a container with an airtight lid, label and store in a cool, dark place.
