DIY Lemon Hair Gel
Lemon juice acts as a great base for homemade hair gel because of its sugar content. As an added bonus, it adds shine. Powdered agar-agar, which is produced from dried seedweed, provides the gelling effect and conditions hair.
Ingredients
1/2 cup warm water
1 tablespoon powdered agar-agar
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon vegetable glycerin
Directions
Combine the water and agar-agar together in a small bowl and stir to dissolve. Add the lemon juice and glycerin and stir again. Transfer into a clean pump or squirt bottle. To use, apply a small amount to damp hair and style as usual.
