Great new product recommendations.

Cat got your cord? If your pets prefer power cords to Kong toys, the new TRC Fire Shield extension cord is a must-have household helper. The wire is specially designed to prevent the danger of electric shock -- the power supply is automatically shut off if wires are damaged in any way. Wow!

Petproofing tips that can save lives.

In winter, pet owners have to be especially careful when handling antifreeze -- just a sip of this sweet-tasting stuff can be deadly to small pets. Be safe and opt for pet-friendly formulations such as Prestone's Low Tox or Sierra brand; both will help reduce the severity of antifreeze poisoning. Cool!

Gentle home remedies.

Make doggie dental care all natural and less expensive. Dip a clean cloth in apple cider vinegar and gently rub over your pet's teeth for a daily cleaning. Need an internal remedy for bad breath? Feed your dog a diet fortified with plain yogurt. Yum!
