Start this spell in the morning by removing the Ace of Cups from your deck and placing the card on your altar. Light incense with a cool watery scent such as amber, spearmint, or Blue Nile. Then say:

Cup of wisdom,
Cup of grace,
Pour your blessings on this place.
Fill me up with what you know.
Teach me of the ebb and flow.
Let me taste the Moon and rain,
And all the magic you contain.

Turn to your favorite tarot manual and read the part about the cups suit. Take some time to let the symbols and interpretations sink into your mind. Let the incense go out on its own. Throughout the day, watch for cup imagery and jot down what you see in your tarot notebook.
